| Lead Pastor Randy Paredes |

Randy was born in San Bernardino, California in what is known as the Inland Empire. He Spent the first 15 1/2 years of his ministry at Discovery Christian Church in Moreno Valley, California as a Youth Pastor. He graduated from Hope International University with a B.A. and an M.A.
Randy's family includes his wife Lydia, daughter Linda and son Caleb. They moved to Florence over 2 years ago to follow Gods call on Randy's life.
Randy's vision is simple. He desires to reach this region with the good news of Jesus Christ.
He loves sports and can often be heard on local radio KCST doing color commentary or actually calling the games. |

Marty comes to Florence Christian Church with over 40 years of musical experience, 30 of which were spent in the music business. He has recorded on several dozen record/cd projects and produced several cd's. His background includes opening for people like Tanya Tucker, Sawyer Brown and working with artist like Johnny Lee. His heart is about honoring God with every note played and sung. It is his desire that all people learn how to live a "lifestyle of worship".

| Pastor of Children and Student Ministries Ahren Cahoon |

Ahren was born in Cincinnati, OH., but considers himself a Colorado native after really growing up (relative term) in Colorado Springs, CO.
Ahren has a B.A. in Church/Para-Church Youth Ministries. And attained the honor of perfect attendance in the 3rd grade.
Ahren said, "I've been married to my beautiful wife, and High School sweetheart, Trudie, for just over 10 years. We have 2 great, fun kids - Benjamin who is 6 and Brooklyn who is 4."
"It is my desire to see teens and young people living everyday in an exciting, growing relationship with our loving Savior."
Ahren loves off-roading in the Monty any chance he gets. He also enjoys volleyball, movies and music of all sorts. And he's a die-hard Denver Broncos fan, after all God is..."Why else would sunsets be blue and orange!?!"

| Kay King - Involvement |

Kay has served on staff at FCC for 18 years. Kay led worship, drama, adult and children’s choir. In her new role, she serves in the area of Involvement. Kay helps FCC members identify their gifts and then finds ministry opportunities in which they can serve. “One of my favorite challenges is discovering and developing new ministries, as the church grows and changes.” Kay and husband, Bobby, have been married for 36 years. They have a married son and married daughter who have blessed them with 5 grandchildren, the last two being twins. |

Jan was born and raised on the Oregon coast and has lived in Florence for the past 30 years. She has enjoyed working at Florence Christian Church as office manager for the last 12 years and has seen many exciting changes take place.
In addition to her ministry in the office, she enjoys working in the children's ministry with FCC's 4 and 5 year olds, the KindeRoots. They are a tremendous blessing to Jan.
She would love for everyone to come out and visit us here at FCC.

Sharon came to Florence about ten years ago, after traveling around the country in a motor home for two years. This was the place she most wanted to come back to. Her experience of working at GM Photographic for thirty three years gave her an interest in printing and graphics and she now enjoys creating flyers and other graphic work for FCC. She enjoys the outdoors and hiking in the wonderful world that God has created here in our area. She wants to help others become aware of and appreciate the beauty. |

Wren was born and raised in Florence Oregon and is currently a Sophmore at Eugene Bible College. Wren has attended Florence Christian Church for about 5 years now and started off here as just a student within our youth group. "I remember getting to annoy Doug on our first summer camp trip to Lake Shasta and ever since i've had a blast serving the Lord here at Florence Christian Church and I feel God wants me to be here for a very long time," says Wren.
Wren loves to play sports and played basketball last year for the Eugene Bible College Deacons. He plans to play next year as well. Wren loves to go off roading and often gets stuck so Ahren can come and pull him out of the mud and get to go off roading himself. Wren is totally a beaver believer with his shoes and probably half his clothes being orange, he is also a very passionate Seattle Seahawks fan.
"I just want to help the teens in Florence see what I saw in a relationship with the Lord at their age. This community has brought so much joy to my life that I want to stay here in Florence and help teens out. I want teens to know that they can do all things through Christ and never let anybody look down on them because of their age and what they believe in." This is an amazing verse that has helped me and I think all Christian teens should know "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."-1 Timothy 4:12. |
